PICNet 1 28/40 Pin PIC18 Development Board with Ethernet Interface The PICNet 1 is a versatile development board for those interested in developing networked applications using Microchip's PIC18F family of microcontrollers. The board includes a full Ethernet interface implemented with Microchip Technology new Stand-Alone ENC28J60 Ethernet Network Controller plus a SD/MMC memory card connector and interface with the microcontroller. In addition the PICNet 1 includes an RJ-11 ICSP interface connector for MCU programming and debugging with development tools such as Microchip Tecnology ICD2, and a standard RS-232 serial interface. The 2" x 2.25" prototype area has 437 connection points available with 0.1" spacing and easy access to power supply sources and MCU I/O ports, and to 8 user LEDs (limiting resistors included). The clock source for the MCU can be selected via configuration jumpers or installing the required components. The Full Version ships with the 40-pin socket populated with a PIC18F4620 preloaded with the modified version of the Microchip TCP/IP Stack, the 8-pin socket with a 25LC256 Serial EEPROM, and the Oscillator socket with a 10 MHz half can oscillator. |
